Accommodation at the Brisbane Quaker Meeting House

We have one guest room that contains one double and one single bed.  It is mainly for use by Quakers and their guests. Those hiring the Meeting House may also book the accommodation room for a visiting guest presenter if required. Providing accommodation for travelling Quakers is a long-established tradition.  Our guest accommodation is only suitable for short-term stays.  Guests may book for up to two weeks subject to availability.

Information for Guests

Welcome on behalf of Brisbane Friends to our guest accommodation. We hope you will enjoy your stay.

During your visit there may be some groups using the Garden Room for activities such as meditation. We ask that you be considerate of them while you are staying.  Please ensure you vacate the Garden Room for hire groups, and leave the kitchen clean and tidy.

You are also most welcome to join us for our Sunday Meeting upstairs - 10.00am to 11.00am - and for morning tea afterwards. Anyone is welcome to attend. If you have not attended a Quaker Meeting before, we will be glad to answer any questions. Most of your questions might be answered by a leaflet entitled "First Time in Meeting" which you can get from the caretakers or from the table outside the upstairs door.
